FAQ’s

Will I Have a Say in the Graphic Design Process?

Yes! Absolutely. Our entire fulfillment process is predicated on your vison and outcome. We can’t do this without your input and knowledge. If you have a problem with deciding what you want, we help you find other sites with a design style that you may like to emulate so that you can discover your vision. If you have an idea or some product marketing material that you’d like us to work around, we can do that. We make sure your graphic design and web design project is a consistent and integral part of your overall brand.

What is the Client’s Involvement in the Design Process?

Our work is based on our client’s ideas and vision so we listen to our clients from the start. We encourage samples, color combinations/swatches, and examples they may have to help us understand our clients expected outcomes. While we design the project, at certain points, the client is asked to approve certain details and aspects of the design before the project continues. Once the design project is ready for print or publication, we submit a final draft for approval before production. Once a project is in production, the project cannot be cancelled. After a project is complete, the client may request the design in various formats when applicable, if payment is made for design services.

How Does Your Logo Design Process Work?

During our initial logo consultation, we discuss the client’s ideas, target market, messaging, business issues, and branding aspirations. We then look for samples of existing images that the client likes or dislikes to get an idea of their style. We make sure to collect enough information so that the outcomes are clearly defined.

How Will I Receive My Design Project Once it is Finished?

A finished project is yours upon receipt of final payment. We supply the electronic files to you through e-mail or through a third party large file transfer system. We also keep a copy of your project (for a limited time) on file for later updates should the need arise.

What Do Your Websites Cost?

Our prices depend on so many factors. To determine the cost of services, we need to talk to you about your aspirations. Find out more information by giving us a quick phone call. You can expect us to ask you a few questions about your project outcomes and your various design needs. Once we have obtained enough information we will give you a proposal with a firm quote along with the benefits and value of the project.

If a web developer or graphic designer gives you an instant quote without knowing any the information about your site, run away! Imagine telling someone you want a car and having them immediately giving you a price for that car without knowing the make and model. Any fair and honest car salesperson would want to know the make, model and engine type of the car you’re looking to purchase. The same goes for design services. Depending on the features you want for your web site, the cost varies dramatically. Our job is to discover the vale behind your project and ensure that your investment produces sufficient returns.

Another Company Says They Can Build a Website For Us For $600. Why Shouldn’t We Use Them?

Be wary of anyone who says they’ll build you a website for $600. There’s a possibility they’ll take your money and then build your site with a template. They will be ordinary and rather generic. They’ll ask you for five pages of text and then slap it into a template and that’s it. There’s no custom graphic design; there’s no interactivity; there’s no lead generation, your site won’t be optimized for search engines and it will look like a $600 site.

Remember, a consultation with DMT is always free and we just might be able to prevent you from wasting money.

Does DelMadeThis Provide Copywriting Services? How About Photography?

Yes, but not directly. If your project calls for copywriting, trademarking, original content, video and other business services, let us know. Our partnership with companies like Excellence in Execution Planning, allow us the opportunity to provide our clients with business solutions to fuel their business growth. We have packages to help you trademark a logo after we have designed it, or copywrite a book after we have designed the cover. We will help you find a solution and keep your business growing.

Does DelMadeThis Provide Web Hosting Services?

No. Most real web hosting companies have massive data centers that have hundreds of employees, triple power redundancy (in case of a blackout in the region) and 24-hour security staff guarding the facility. When a local web developer claims that they also host web sites, they’re almost certainly just a middleman for a real web host. That means that they mark up the cost of hosting and pass it along to you. And it means that if your server ever has a problem, you’ll have to go to them and they’ll contact your host for you. Are they on call 24-7? Of course not. Another major disadvantage to using a web developer as a host — if you’re ever dissatisfied with their service, they control the server that hosts your site. Extracting your company from the relationship could be very difficult.

At DMT, we listen to your needs and suggest the most affordable web hosting option that meets the technical specifications of your new site. You’ll pay the host directly and you may contact them directly if you ever need to do so.
